Finally I have a date for the first Girevoy sport based class here at Australian Kettlebells Headquarters in Richmond!
This class will be suitable for anyone who has the basic kettlebell moves down – one arm swings, rack squats, cleans and push presses. It will also be suitable for anyone who has already been practising Girevoy sport techniques – they’ll just have to work a little harder!
For anyone who is interested but hasn’t heard of Girevoy sport, it is the sport of kettlebell lifting. Generally, you want to build up to lifting a moderately heavy bell overhead for 10 minutes. This is no mean feat and will certainly test the mettle. However, it is also something anyone can do with hard work, determination and dedication.
